KNOCKOUT REVIEWS PRESENTS:

A Big bunch of music. We've come to the conclusion that the only way to stamp out evil's nasty mucky glow is to publish our exceptionally harsh opinions of the many awful albums that get released every week, and loving & affectionate reviews of the brilliant albums that are released approximately once every year. At least this makes it relatively easy for us to do our annual awards...

Shaw-Han Liem, the man behind Robot, provides us with a little plinky-plonky electronica music debut, self-produced (as are most bedroom knob-twiddled creations) to his own version of perfection.

But in this place, perfection is debatable...

Elbow! prodigous pen-men of 2001's Asleep in the Back, return with a sequel, produced by the man (or at least, one of the men) behind Blur's shifty 'Think Tank'. Whilst they found fame after years of toiling away in the misery, poverty and unrecognisability of 'life as an unsigned band', this is the second album. they *should* have cheered up a bit. Hmm.

The third offering from the UD shack puts the trio behind the counter of a corporate burger house, dishing up tasty mystery meat drinks. Sounds to me like the boys have gotten a little politic-savvy with their new-found popularity... Is this hip-hop with a message, or are they still just fooling?
