Eargasm

Plump DJ's

Avid plump fans have been gripping their white labels in wait of this release. As bits and pieces leaked out though the samplers and bootlegs onto the streets suspicions were confirmed that Eargasm would be something very special indeed. Eargasm sees a new dimension to the duo, Andy and Lee delve into more varied styles & tempos like “Morning sun” featuring the vocal talents of Lamb’s Louise Rhodes and 80s influenced electro popping of “How much is enough”. Each of these new ventures are executed wonderfully with their own trademark sound that lets you know “it’s plump”.

Obviously there’s still a healthy dose of Spunk (Speed Funk) that never fails to cause a stir on the dance floor and get even the most ignorant of toes a tapping. “When the funk hits the fan” demands you dance to the bouncing bass line womp, cheeky guitar and the vocal samples of Eddie Bo. For the more hardcore head-in-the-speaker types “Creep show”, “The Gate” & “Squeaks & Bleeps” will not fail to disappoint. Most spectacular of all is the first class production that really sets this album apart from others - nothing stands up to it! The sound had been engineered and refined so well that you feel as though listening to anything else is doing your speakers an injustice. If you like music you’ll love this!
